He works from measurement rather than impression, and takes an integrative view: ADHD is looked at alongside sleep, cardiovascular and metabolic health rather than on its own, with a documented baseline before anything starts and review at set intervals rather than only when a problem gets loud enough to prompt a call. He also does aged-care and home visits, and gives a good deal of his spare time to the long-suffering cause of the Parramatta Eels.

Working with other clinicians

Psychologists, allied health and psychiatrists

For the thinking and feeling side, a psychologist in the network. With a Mental Health Treatment Plan from a GP, Medicare pays part of up to 10 sessions a year.

For daily life, occupational therapists and coaches turn the plan into routines.

Where the picture is more complex, such as another serious mental illness or a history that makes stimulants risky, a psychiatrist is the right choice. That needs a GP referral. You’ll find psychiatrists in the network too.

Ask at your appointment how your GP shares information with your other clinicians.
