He has assessed and managed ADHD in many hundreds of children, teenagers and adults, including people with both autism and ADHD. He sees children aged 10 and over, teens and adults, and does every assessment himself, so you stay with one doctor from the first consultation through diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. His approach is practical and individual, looking at how ADHD affects study, work, relationships and everyday life. He was selected for the RACGP Victorian GP ADHD Training and Support Program, and teaches and mentors medical students and graduates. His other interest is skin cancer medicine.

Working with other clinicians

Psychologists, allied health and psychiatrists

Allen works with psychologists, psychiatrists, schools and allied health professionals when it helps.

Where specialist input is needed, he may recommend a referral to a paediatrician or psychiatrist.

Already diagnosed by a paediatrician or psychiatrist? He can review that assessment and, where appropriate, continue your care without a new one.

You can keep your regular GP for everything else.
