About

Kathy is MindScope’s Principal Psychologist and Clinical Director.

Her practice is shaped by a philosophy centred on dignity, autonomy, inclusion and respect for neurodivergent ways of being; an early proponent of the neurodiversity-affirming paradigm, she remains an advocate for the human rights principles at its foundation. She is particularly skilled where autism and ADHD, complex trauma, and dissociation intersect, and complexity needs nuanced, compassionate care.

Her approach is relational, trauma-responsive and attentive to the systems that shape a person’s life. Extended sessions give more time to explore concerns in depth, understand how different factors interact, and work at a pace that supports substantive therapeutic work. She also provides neuroaffirming Autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments, including complex diagnostic work where previous or co-occurring diagnoses complicate the picture. Away from work she enjoys forest walks, theatre, making art and tinkering with software.
